

Endemol's Peter Cowley Announced for EIF 09
Published 2009-05-23 10:45PMEdinburgh Interactive Festival today announced that Endemol UK’s Peter Cowley, BMO Capital Markets’ Ed Williams and Phonetic Arts’ Paul Taylor will be presenting sessions at this year’s event in August.
Cowley’s session is called “Evolution of TV Branded Games”, covering “games that support TV shows, the rise of social gaming and the convergence of TV game shows within games”. This will then be followed by a Q&A session in which the audience can put questions to Cowley regarding television and gaming.
“I am really excited about this year’s line-up. Once again, we have an impressive list of quality speakers covering a number of relevant, timely and at times, controversial subjects, which should provide an engaging and thought provoking two days.” said Wendy Rosenthal, director of the event. “Each year, the Edinburgh Interactive Festival’s diverse programme attracts a bigger audience represent a broad range of industries. With such a growing fan base, people are quickly learning to appreciate the importance of incorporating both interactive gaming and media into both their products and marketing. There is no other games conference in the world that provides such depth and relevant content.”

| More like just fag, also OSX > Windows. I’m all about the looks of an OS and OSX is far better looking than Windows. However I’m not a fanboyfag I still run windows since its a whole lot more powerful than OSX. |
