Picross 3D Sees March 5 Release In Europe

Did Picross DS bend your mind? If it did, then its even more complex successor, Picross 3D, is sure to cause your brain to spontaneously combust. Instead of logically uncovering images in a two-dimensional grid, you’ll be chiselling three-dimensional figures off a block of cubes.

The press release goes on to mention that you’ll require good spatial understanding, logic, and, er, Schnelldenkerqualitäten. We got the German press release for some reason, but I’m pretty sure that means “quick thinking”, so no need to panic and rush to Google Translate.

Picross 3D will be released in Europe on March 5th, the same time as the DSi XL, and features support for downloading additional puzzles over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection on top of the included 350 puzzles. Keep an eye out for it on store shelves soon.
