Sexy Maid Service Is Subtle and Classy

Remember when the iPhone’s approval process filtered out offensive and copyright infringing applications and let the useful and fun ones through? Me neither. I don’t wish to imply anything about the quality iFun4All’s latest game, Sexy Maid Service, but it doesn’t inspire complete confidence in Apple after they’ve previously rejected a licensed C64 emulator and Nine Inch Nails’ NIN: Access app.

But don’t worry yourself too much over the details. iFun4All have taken this opportunity to prove that erotic games don’t have to be, ah, “poorly made vulgar slide shows”. The press release continues to explain the premise: “The game pays respects to the pin-up phenomenon with its beautiful, hand-drawn graphics and features a sexy home maid, Megan, as its main character. The player helps Megan to clean the mansion before its owners return home by collecting vicious dust balls falling from every corner. Thanks to its arcade nature, Sexy Maid Service is a game with great replayability, that is easy to get into and that can be played both in short bursts and in longer sessions.”

“Our games will be subtle and classy. You can easily enjoy them during your daily commute without being embarrassed, the goal here is to become the Playboy of the App Store,” said Piotr Bielatowicz, Producer and Creative Director, iFun4All. “We strive to provide high quality content that does not fall in the porn category.”

The game will launch on the App Store on the 18th of January 2010, so if you’re into that kind of game, better save your pennies. Personally, I’d like to remind my readers that the 18th of January is also the release date of (500) Days of Summer and Dorian Gray on DVD and Blu-ray, so make the educated decision.
