Introducing zConnection Labs … clans and store …

Friday, June 13th, 2008

So you may have noticed the new entry in the zConnection mainbar. The entry says LABS. Similar to Google’s Google Labs or YouTube’s Test Tube, this new section allows you to try out the beta features of zConnection. These include zConnection’s clan system and store system.

The clan system allows you to make mini “clubs” which other members can join for free, or for a set price in virtual zConnection Coins. Staff of these clubs can send messages to all their club members, and each club has a miniature message board for members to post in.

The store system is simpler yet still just as fun. Members can buy virtual items for their gained Coins, some of which extend the functionalities for the forum for them (such as Remove Adverts for One Week, or Change Display Name Colour) and others which are mainly cosmetic, such as adding a small icon of choice under your name.

We’ll keep you posted here at the blog!

What I did today.

Woke up at 9am. Mulled over my odd nightmare with vampires at my school, stealing a crappy Toyota from a hi-tech car park, finding out the conspiracy behind St Leonards Pet Show, trying to tatoo myself, and more. Get out of bed at 9.30am after plenty of mulling.

Opened up laptop. Logged in. Went to bathroom. Came back. Started working on zConnection. Ate breakfast. Three Weetabixes with sugar and milk. Worked on zConnection some more. Made this stupid blog.

The end, so far.
